These Terms & Conditions apply to consultations, bookings and tattoo services provided by Legend Ink, the trading name of Michel Moreno. By confirming an appointment or paying a deposit, you agree to the terms that apply to your booking. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights.

1. Age Requirement

You must be 18 or over to receive a tattoo at Legend Ink. Valid photographic identification may be requested.

Parental consent does not allow us to tattoo anyone under 18.

2. Consultations & Bookings

Legend Ink is a private, appointment-only tattoo studio. During your consultation we may discuss the design, size, placement, estimated price and expected number of sessions.

Estimates may change depending on the final design, size, placement or complexity.

3. Deposits & Payments

A deposit is required to secure a tattoo appointment. Your appointment is only confirmed once the required deposit has been received.

Unless otherwise agreed, the deposit will be deducted from the final cost of your tattoo.

Deposits and tattoo payments may be made by card, bank transfer or cash, where available. Legend Ink does not add a separate surcharge for payment by a consumer debit or credit card.

Please retain any payment or booking confirmation provided to you.

4. Cancellation, Refunds & Rescheduling

Please give us at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

Where at least 48 hours' notice is given, your deposit can normally be transferred to another appointment. Where a refund is due, it will be processed using an appropriate payment method.

If you cancel, reschedule or fail to attend with less than 48 hours' notice, your deposit will normally be retained to cover the loss caused by the cancellation and a new deposit may be required to rebook.

Where a deposit was originally paid in cash and a refund is due, Legend Ink may issue the refund by bank transfer rather than cash. We may request the bank details needed to process that refund.

Any statutory cancellation or refund rights you have under UK consumer law remain unaffected.

5. Cancellation by Legend Ink

If we need to cancel or move your appointment because of illness, emergency or circumstances outside our reasonable control, your deposit will be transferred to another date or refunded if you prefer not to reschedule.

6. Late Arrival

Please arrive at the agreed appointment time. Significant lateness may reduce your tattooing time or require your appointment to be rescheduled.

Where an appointment cannot proceed because of a substantial delay caused by the client, the cancellation terms may apply.

7. Pricing & Payment

Your price may be based on the individual tattoo, session length or agreed day rate. Any estimate is based on the design and information agreed at the time.

Significant changes to the design, size, placement or scope may change the price or number of sessions required. Any outstanding balance is due as agreed with Legend Ink.

8. Gift Vouchers

Where Legend Ink offers gift vouchers, vouchers cannot normally be exchanged for cash and are subject to the validity period and any redemption conditions stated when purchased.

If a voucher is restricted to use towards a tattoo deposit, any remaining tattoo balance must be paid separately using one of the payment methods accepted by Legend Ink.

These conditions do not affect any statutory rights you may have.

9. Tattoo Designs & Copyright

Legend Ink specialises in bespoke tattoo work. Reference images are generally used for inspiration rather than directly copying another artist's work.

Original artwork created for your tattoo remains the intellectual property of its creator unless otherwise agreed.

Custom designs must not be commercially reproduced or provided to another tattoo artist for reproduction without permission.

10. Health & Safety

You must provide accurate information about anything that could affect the safety of your tattoo or healing process, including relevant health conditions, allergies, medication, skin conditions, previous reactions or recent laser treatment.

Please tell us if anything changes before your appointment. We may postpone or refuse tattooing where we reasonably believe proceeding would be unsafe or inappropriate.

11. Alcohol & Drugs

We will not tattoo anyone who appears intoxicated or unable to provide informed consent. If an appointment cannot proceed for this reason, it may be treated as a late cancellation.

12. Preparing for Your Appointment

Please arrive rested, hydrated and having eaten appropriately.

Tattooing may need to be postponed if the area has significant sunburn, irritation, infection, broken skin or another condition that makes tattooing inappropriate.

Please discuss numbing creams with us before using them.

13. Tattooing, Healing & Aftercare

Tattooing involves recognised risks including discomfort, bleeding, swelling, infection, allergic reactions, scarring and changes in pigmentation.

Every person's skin and healing process are different, so the healed result cannot be guaranteed to look exactly like a digital mock-up, reference image or the tattoo immediately after the appointment.

You are responsible for following the aftercare instructions provided.

14. Touch-Ups

Whether a touch-up is required will be assessed after the tattoo has healed. Touch-ups are not automatically included unless specifically agreed.

Additional work may be chargeable, particularly where healing has been affected by poor aftercare, sun exposure or circumstances outside our control.

15. Cover-Ups & Reworks

Existing tattoos, scar tissue and previous laser treatment can make results less predictable. Cover-ups may require changes in design, darker areas, additional sessions or further laser treatment.

Any expected result discussed during consultation is an artistic assessment rather than a guarantee.

16. Photography

We may photograph completed tattoos. Identifiable photographs used for advertising, social media or our website will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and appropriate permission will be requested.

You may decline promotional photography without affecting your tattoo appointment.

17. Studio Behaviour

Legend Ink provides a private and professional environment. We reserve the right to stop or refuse treatment in cases involving threatening or abusive behaviour, intoxication, deliberately false information or significant health and safety concerns.

18. Liability

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

19. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
